Ok, so I have been blogging for a week now and I'm starting to get a complex that all this is is the "noughties" outlet for those of us who are just a little bit bonkers and like to talk to ourselves!
If anyone is out there, please let me know by following me! I will be much more inspired to write creatively if I know someone's going to read the damn thing.
Today? Well, that was fun! I spent 11 hours with yesterday's said team member trying to work on stupid task set by stupid boss. I had to stop every bone in my body from filling in his stupid business initiative template with "your idea sucks! Why not get people who actually understand the business to develop some better ones for you... Like these...". I did all but and have actually left the office quite pleased with what we've done. What disappoints me is his style... This needs to be done by 5, but don't worry, I'll fend off the big boys for you... I know these big boys well and they're pussy cats! But I know my boss will be spinning them a yarn about how we're compicating matters.... Which we're not by the way...
God I'm ranting, sorry.
Good things that happened today:
- diet continues to go well and I'm losing weight steadily. 9 stone by Christmas I hope.
- organised all the interviews for my two new staff
- got new baby card for friend who had baby yesterday
- offered my seat to a pregnant lady
- it didn't rain!
It's now 1936 and I'll be home by 8 to enjoy an evening with hubby and if I'm really lucky see son before he goes to bed.
