Busiest shopping day of the year...

And guess where I was?? Richmond and Kingston!

Why is it that when the going gets tough, humans turn into animals? Trying to get round Richmond and Kingston on the busiest shopping day of the year is bad enough, but when you're pushing a pram with a two year old whinging "out now Mummy", it's a bloody nightmare! Walking round the with a pram in the 21st Century at Christmas time must be akin to walking around a market in the middle ages with leprosy! The tuts, sighs and rolled eyes are enough to make anyone want to do all their shopping online next year.

BUT... I did get all my shopping done - yeah! The last two were for my sister and new neighbour and we managed to get both done and be home by 5pm.

We're having a chilled evening (well, that's what hubby thinks until I jump him again later.. one must take advantage of this time of the month after all...), eating crispy duck from Waitrose and drinking good vino.

The only major question of the evening..... who will win Strictly?
