Bye Bye Gordon

This was never meant to be and is never going to be an intellectual political blog. I am a working mother who says what she thinks and doesn't care if people laugh at it.

So let's be honest, are we really going to miss this mug?

Am I naive to think that Britain in the 21st Century should be democratic? That if you have a competition the person who has the most votes should win?

As far as I see it, no matter what happens as a result of this election, as a British Citizen I feel cheated.

I am personally open to political reform. If this is the current system, it sucks.

The Conservatives won the election. But they don't have a majority. They therefore have to do a deal.

The "deal" means that the party that came THIRD get to choose who runs the country - go figure!?

Nick Clegg, soft spot or not, has no right to make this decision on behalf of the British Public. We did not choose him.

Should Clegg decide not to partner with the winner, they instead partner with another loser. But guess what, that still doesn't result in a majority, so they have to partner with even more losers.

The result? The country is run by a group of individuals who the people chose NOT to elect to lead them. All led by an individual who was not subject to the scrutiny of the election campaign, who ever that may be... Runners and Riders

Can you all just go away, so we can start again please? This is a mess.

A huge mes, I agree. Very worrying and scary that this can happen.
