I guess this week it's about "be careful what you wish for!"
I am delighted to say that I am now exhausted and feeling sick from about 5pm onwards! As usual though, unlike the rest of the population, it appears I have to eat my way out of sickness! Who cares though, at least I'm feeling pregnant now. Next week is probably going to be my most challenging week I've ever had in my career, so I just hope I get through it.
Strangely, I also don't feel as fat as I did last week. Perhaps I'm just getting used to the additional weight now or I'm generally just more comfortable in my own skin.
So, this is me at 8 weeks pregnant:
According to BabyCentre, many changes take place this week – the embryonic tail is gone, and all organs, muscles, and nerves are beginning to function. Your baby measures about 1.6cm. His hands now bend at the wrist, and his feet begin to lose their webbed appearance. Eyelids are beginning to cover his eyes and tastebuds starting to form on his tongue.
