Working from home (ahem!)

So, it's been a strange and stressful couple of weeks, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to work from home and spend some time with hubby.

The stress certainly wasn't relieved by my trip to the GP to discuss my blood test results; in fact I was seriously pissed off and let down by the whole experience:

I arrived to be told I was seeing a locum
The locum told me that only a third of my results were back
The results that were back showed a high neutrophyl count, but she couldn't tell me the significance of that
When I pushed foe advice as to what I should do next, I was told "it's the patient's responsibility to chase results"

I left feeling thoroughly let down.

Then the next experience...

Hubby has now "signed on". We thought it would be worthwhile, even if we just got a bit of cash to help us get by. OMFG. We arrived at the job centre and weere treated like utter low lives. I wasn't even allowed through the door by the two meat heads guarding it. In my usual provocative style I called them jobsworths, turned on my heal and strutted out.

To make ourselves feel better, we took ourselves to Jamies and had a lovely lunch and vino.... I know, I know the irony. Just to reassure you, we don't seem to qualify for income support yet anyway.
