Us time

Last night hubby and I had a rare night out together, without our son!

After deciding against the 55 minute wait in minus 5* to get a table at Jamie's Italian, we started at the riverside with Mojitos. I knew from the start that it was going to be a good night, as we'd both agreed not to talk about the two elephants in the room, so as to avoid getting ourselves depressed. Instead we talked about how we met, the way I played hard to get (for the first night anyway) and how we spent the most amazing summer together in 1999, which we both remembered had the "Kiss Me" Theme tune because of the film She's All That. And we talked about how we just knew we were going to end up together... We both agreed that marriage needs work, we both love each other so much, but days and weeks can go by when we just treat each other like brother and sister. We are both determined to ensure we have more us time.

After drinks we went to Patcharee Thai Restaurant in Kingston, which I have to say is SUCH a wonderful Thai experience and I highly recommend it. It's not high class or anything and we only spent about £70, with wine, but the food is to die for!

This morning I topped off my Thai experience with a Thai body massage at Kobkun, which was a present from new neighbour for my birthday last December. It wasn't what I call relaxing, but it really sorted me out: I was floating afterwards and my shoulders haven't felt so relaxed in years!
