It's a well recognised British trait that we don't take compliments very well. This week I have had so many amazing comments from my team, saying how I have turned the team around and how motivated they are.
I've learned to stop brushing the compliments away and actually simply say "thank you, that means a lot". I love my team, I am so proud of them, they are keeping their chins up whilst all around them are getting down.
I'm proud of myself too and I might actually have to admit - I'm actually quite good at what I do!
