I will say this only once

From colouring reviews to annual performance reviews: quite a change of mood!

The newbie that I promoted at the end of last year had his year end review. I was very kind because I know how much pressure he's under, but he's a feedback junkie and "not interested in the positive stuff". So, I gave him a lot of my time and we went through all his development areas. Mainly prioritisation and managing expectations. I was trying to get him to understand that when you're not going to meet a deadline it's important to call someone and let them know, rather than not deliver at all. I really thought he'd grasped it, but then no less than 2 hours later did exactly the opposite. I am fuming... Because you know what the excuse was? His inbox was full (argh!).

Anyway, deep breath.

On the way in this morning I popped into Superdrug and found ovulation tests on BOGOF. Result!

I rushed home after negotiating yet more delays at Waterloo, did a test and it was +ve. I'm so surprised. I thought I ovulated days 15-19, but looks like I've been way out. I'm only day 12. With reflexology at 7pm, I couldn't be more delighted.

I love reflexology. It is my hour for me. To tell me that I'm going to get pregnant.

The colouring was inevitable.... and very exciting
