Day 19

I usually manage to keep my mind off the Two Week Wait (TWW) while I'm at work, well, most of the time...

It's when I get home that it's tough. At work I'm so busy I can't even think of wishing the time away, but at home there's Cbeebies to contend with, then bath time, the bedtime, which for some reason at the moment has turned into a bit of a battle (should be interesting when his new "big boy bed" arrives this Friday!)

A week today I can test (officially), but it's going to be a real struggle to get through the weekend without dashing into a chemist and buying an "early test" kit. If First Response is to be believed, I could get a result 5 days early... that's Saturday...it's going to be hard avoid buying THAT at the weekend!

Not only have I had all that one my mind today, but hubby has had an interview. Only first stage with the recruiter, but it's an interview none the less. Quite typically, it sounds perfect, so we're trying not to get our hope up but......

Poor thing though, he's a real one for punctuality and as sod's law would have it the tube train he was on got stuck in a tunnel, had to be reversed back to the previous stop and then evacuated! He was 15 minutes late.... pretty good story though I reacon and they did have to close the Central Line because of it.

Tonight I'm going to relax, pour myself a glass of wine (sod the new year resolution on mid-week drinking!) and watch Survivors
