Funny day

First day of Hubby's gardening leave and my day off. Stupid me thought it would be a nice family day.

I think I've been really selfish and haven't really considered what he might be going through.... Well, of course I have. I know he must be feeling terrible. I just keep forgetting.

I had to work this morning (in my pjs, drinking coffee at the kitchen table), so I packed hubby and son off to The Little Gym. We had a great afternoon making thank you cards and deciding potty training starts tomorrow (any advice in that front would be much appreciated). But as the day went on I realised that hubby was getting more and more snappy. He says that he's got loads going on in his mind, which I completely understand, but I'm worried he's just putting on a brave face.

To top it off, our son seems to be refusing to sleep at the moment. Since Christmas he just wants to stay up with us in the evening. This evening he was even up watching QI with us and laughing and clapping to it!

He seems to be quiet now though finally. I'm watching Silent Witness, so night night xx
