Preferred Candidate

We spent the day on edge.

Hubby had his interview at 2pm and I spent the morning on the phone to the IT help desk because they somehow managed to "corrupt" all my personal folders over the weekend...Nice!

2pm came and went, I had to head off to a meeting all afternoon and I didn't get home until gone 6pm.

Nothing.

All very tense.

Then at 7.30pm hubby got a text from the recruiter saying he's the preferred candidate for the role YIPPPPEEEEEE

Now, in my book, that's far from "in the bag", so we're not opening the champagne just yet, but it's looking really positive.

The champagne's certainly on ice!
