So, with blackberry on strict rations, a determination to relax and enjoy family time and confirmation that hubby's job is secured, we all headed into London to the Aquarium.
Our son was so excited, admittedly more about the train journey than the fact we were going to see the "fishes". We spent a couple of hours marvelling at the fish and trying to convince our son that he didn't really want to go back "on da udder train" just yet. I avoided blackberry use for a considerable amount of time. We all enjoyed lunch at Giraffe on the Southbank and then we headed up towards the Strand for a stroll while our son slept so we could do our Easter Egg shopping. Hotel Chocolate mmmmm
It was a great family day, we all relaxed and I felt the stress starting to melt away.
I'm really going to miss these long weekends with hubby when he goes back to work. They've been really special. It'll be back to Mummies and coffee, at least it will be summer though, so I'm hoping for long afternoons in the park in glorious sunshine!
