It's been a great week on the stress front: I've avoided it all (well, almost all) costs. I have been tested by everyone, my son, my husband, my team, my clients and a "dear friend", but I have coped. I have joined the gym, been twice, seriously reduced my caffine intake and not a drop of alcohol has passed my lips since Sunday.
Today my biggest test came though. My bestest friend at work, who has been on the conception journey with me, told me she's pregnant. I really am delighted, but it did cause a bit of a wobble. She's due at the beginning of December. It would be so wonderful if we could go through pregnancy together. Althouh she's tiny and beautiful and carries a neat tight bump, she's so open and honest, so I know how fun it would be to compare progress.
I just have to hope that this month works. Tomorrow is day 14. No sign of ovulation yet, but I've got a whole long weekend ahead of me relaxing in the country, so I'm sure that's got to help.
