What are little boys made of?Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tailsThat's what little boys are made of!What are little girls made of?Sugar and spice and all things niceThat's what little girls are made of!
Ok, so maybe I'm reading a little far into my craving for jelly sweets and generally all things sugar now, but having craved salt with my son it's damn hard not to start wondering!I also happened to mention it to a friend at the weekend, who has a one year old girl and she said she craved jelly sweets during her pregnancy too.
A quick search online suggests there maybe something in it. In attempt to make my blog useful and informative (I acknowledge it has become a tad mundane recently), can I ask you to comment on what cravings you had and what was the sex of your baby.
Thank you

See I was the opposite, sweet with my boy and savoury with my girl. Other things they tell you are you carry differently depending on what you are having but I looked exactly the same. I tried the Chinese Gender prediction calendar and even though it's a bit of fun both of mine were right!
I craved McDonalds chips (and only McD, BK no good as the husband found out to his detriment) for my first (a boy), grapefruit for my second (a boy) and am pregnant again with my third boy and want... crisps. But I pretty much love chips, crisps and grapefruit any time so I'm not sure if that counts.
But I've never been morning sick and had 3 boys and every time I've carried the bump right out in front.
A Muse Inner Me recently had a post on old wives tales and predicting gender. http://amuseinnerme.blogspot.com/2010/06/sugar-spice-and-all-things-nice.html
Thanks ladies. Dampened my hopes a bit, but I can only dream. In an attempt to avoid my 222kcal daily bag of Skittles I'm resorting to kids fruit flakes... Not sure it will hit the spot, but I'll let you know!
