All clear

Phew!

0920 I had my appointment at the hospital. The initial exam was pretty scary, especially when she referred me to have an ultra-sound. Once I got referred I was taken to a room and was then left, alone, for about 20 mins. Don't you just love the NHS! Anyway, once she started the scan it was instantly obvious that all was fine. It's just "cyclical" changes aparently. I still had to wait for another hour for the consultant to tell me the same, but I didn't care by then, I just took the opportunity to read mags and drink coffee.

We were out by midday, picked up our son and took him for lunch at Pizza Express. He loved it.

We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping for our holiday next weekend. And then I went to have my hair cut. Again. And this time I love it.

I've now got a glass of wine and am waiting for hubby to bring home a curry.

Oh, and I got my promotion finally, officially confirmed.
