So, I've been on holiday, but now I'm back to reality with a bump on Monday, but there are only nine weeks left at work until maternity leave - yippee! I am SO ready for it.
The last 2 weeks have been wonderfully relaxing. Time with the family was a little fraught at times, but we were with friends last week and that was perfect.
In terms of my pregnancy, things couldn't be better. I've completely got my head around the fact that we're having a BOY and I'm actually quite pleased about it now. I'm feeling really well, the baby moves loads, I have a nice bump and after being measured today, I now know that my two greatest assets are now a 36 DD... The only downside is that my arse is competing in the race to stay in proportion.
So, this is me at 24 weeks pregnant:

I think the little man may be growing!!
This week, according to BabyCentre, my baby is probably about 36cm. He weighs a little more than 760g and his eyes are beginning to open around now. His response to sound grows more consistent towards the end of the seventh month, when the network of nerves to his ears is complete. He may be able to hear me and hubby chatting. My baby also continues to take small breaths, getting plenty of practice for when he's born. It's all preparation for when he takes that first gulp of air.
